ABSTRACT

Nokhrin S. M. Investigation of disordered ferroelectrics with
perovskite structure by spectroscopic methods. — Manuscript.

Thesis for candidat degree by speciality 01.04.07- solid state physics.
— The Institute for Problems of Matirials Science of National Acadamy of
Sciences of Ukraine, Kyiv, 1999.

The thesis is devoted to investigation of local structure, dynamics
peculiarities and ordering of the disordering ferroelectrics by NMR and
dielectric spectroscopy methods. The absence of the ion ordering 1:1 and
niobium-rich regions have been shown in PbMg1/3Nb2/3O3 by analysing NMR
line shape peculiarities and NMR spectra; the existence of microregions
with ion ordering 1:2 was revealed. The NMR line shape of 93Nb in
KTa0.988Nb0.012O3 was analysied and the behaviour of Nb impurity have
been studied as was conditioned by dynamics of elastic dypole moments.
Lack of local phase transition Nb in the off-central position was found.
The local structure of solid solution of relaxor ferroelectrics
xPMN-(1-x)PSN have been studied and was shown its ordering at x(0.5 by
NMR and dielectric spectroscopy methods. The influence of La on the
properties PbZrO3 ceramics was studied; La impurities can be considered
as the pertrubation, which results into decreasing of temperature Curie
and therefore in dielectric susceptility decreasing. Low-frequency
dispertion of (( was observed in antiferroelectric phase of PbZrO3 for
the first time.
