The thesis for a candidate’s degree of technical science is submitted;

A thesis is devoted to developing topics and the special cements and
concretes obtaining on the base of BaO-Al2O3-Fe2O3 system compounds that
enables to use its as the protective materials from the simultaneous
influence of (-radiations and temperatures to 1300 0C.

The theoretical investigation of BaO-Al2O3-Fe2O3 ternary system
structure was followed by the special cements obtaining. At the supposed
cements synthesis temperatures 1200 and 1300 0C the system
triangulation has been completed. Having carried out the theoretical
investigations the protactive high-strength cements (compressive
strength at the age 28 days of hardening – 70 MPa) with high degree of
protection from (-radiation ( ( — 270 cm –1) have been obtained. The
concretes on the base of cements obtained with the different fillers are
caracterized by high degree of protection from (-radiation; high
compressive strength (60 MPa); low strength loss in temperature range 20
– 1000 0C ( to 15 %). They can be used as the radiation-resistant
materials with the service temperature to 1300 0C.
