Lysenko E.N. Sorption of the Co (II), Fe (III) and Mo (VI, V)
thiocyanate complexes on polyurethane foam and its application in
analysis.-The manuscript.

Thesis for a candidat`s of science degree in speciality 02.00.02 –
analytical chemistry.-Kyiv Taras Shevchenko University, Kyiv, 1999.

The thesis is devoted to investigation of chemical and analitical
parametres of the interaction of the polyurethane with Co (II), Fe (III)
and Mo (VI, V) thiocyanate complexes. Regulations of these complexes
sorption on polyurethane foam under different conditions have been
found; the possible sorption mechanismus have been offered. It was
showed that they depend on sorbent properties, concentration conditions,
medium acidity and complex composition. The equations, which allow to
prognose the sorption in dependence of medium acidity, solution volume
and sorbent weight, have been concluded. The methodics of
sorption-desorption-photometric determination of cobalt in natural
waters and iron in mineral acides, of sorption-visible test of iron in
mineral acides, molybdenum and cobalt in natural and waste waters have
been proposed.
