Thesis for a degree of candidate of engineering science on a speciality
05.15.04.- Mine and underground construction.- National Mining
University of Ukraine, Dnipropetrovsk, 1999.

The thesis is dedicated to problems of forecasting and estimation of
stability of developments, mining and intrusion of a curvilinear steel
timbering design. Theoretical and experimental researches of process of
rising of Western Donbass’ weakly metamorphosing rocks, which have a
high level of a structural non-uniformity and bound with it change of
physical and mechanical properties are considered in this work.

The forecasting technique and quantitative assessment of stability of
developments on the basis of random-statistical models is designed. It
allows at designing of facility of developments to forecast their
stability with the analysis of probable effective versions of
maintenance, one of which is approved in conditions of Western Donbass a
horse-shoe steel timbering.

The results of researches are published in four scientific articles.
