In the field trials conducted during 1995 to 1997 under different
weather conditions the main trents in spring wheat growth, development
and grain yield and quality formation have bern studies as influenced by
nitrogen fertilizer rates, chemical means of plant protection and
seeding rate. The optimum perameters of all the positions under
investigations are elaborated end scientifically substantiated from
economical point of virw. Those permit to fully realize the yielding
potential as well as ensure high grain quality of the commercial spring
wheat varieties in the Steppe Zone of Ukraine. The best technological
models of spring wheat growing for the farms with different level of
resource security are recommended.
