The dissertation is devoted to investigation of the optical properties —
atomic-electronic structure interconnection both for polycrystalline
metallic materials after the treatment by metal and gas ions and
iron-based amorphous metallic alloys produced by means of variation of
thermodynamical conditions of its preparation and ribbons treatment
method. The ways in which bombardment by metal and inert gas ions modify
the optical properties of polycrystalline metals are clarified.
Peculiarities of the optical properties are associated with surface
microrelief changes due to ion implantation and deposition of
corresponding films. The advantages of the ellipsometric experiment in
connection with the neutronographic studies of atomic structure were
shown in order to study the atomic-electronic structure modification
nature for amorphous metallic alloys with various thermodynamical
conditions of quenching and further long-term neutron irradiation.
