Pedagogical College Students’ Moral and Ethic Education in the Process
of Learning Literature of Native Land. – Manuscript.

Thesis for a candidate’s degree by speciality 13.00.02. – theory and
studies of Ukrainian Literature. – Pedagogical Institute of Academy of
Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, Kyiv, 1998.

Results of the theoretical-experimental investigation are put for
discussion. It is proved that in the process of conducting creative
lessons and extra-curricular activities on Literature of Native Land
with the application of contemporary effective forms and methods of
educational and academic activities, and of modelling educational
situations with the help of morality successive forming, makes it
possible to raise the level of Pedagogical College students’ moral and
ethic upbringing and activate their research work, develop their
creativity, mould aesthetic values and moral ethic ideals of the future
elementary school teacher’s personality. The data and results of the
research will serve as theoretical basis for a further improvement of
Literature Studies at the Pedagogical College.

Key words: level of moral and ethic upbringing, successive formation
system, modelling of educational situations, research work, moral-ethic
ideal, contemporary effective forms and methods.
