SUMMARY

Shishkin O.V. Molecular structure and conformational analysis of
six-membered dihydrocycles.- Manuscript.

The main rules of molecular structure of six-membered dihydrocycles
have been established. It was demonstrated that all types of rings
possess high conformational flexibility. An influence of electronic and
steric substituent effects and anneletaion by various rings on
conformational characteristics of partially hydrogenated rings have been
studied. Intermolecular interaction effects in the crystal phase and
their influence on conformation of flexible rings have been
investigated. It was shown that high conformational flexibility of
six-membered dihydrocycles may essentially change physico-chemical
properties of compounds especially in biological systems.
