The thesis is submitted for a candidate’s degree on speciality
14.01.20.—Skin and Veneral Diseases.—The Ukrainian Scientific-Research
Institute of Dermatology and Venerology, Kharkov, 1998.

The thesis is devoted to investigate the importance of
microhaemodynamical and immunological abnormalities in the pathogenesis
of various forms of the limited scleroderma. The peculiarities of
plaque, linear, superficial forms and combined features scleroderma are
established. The differences and the degree of manifestation of humoral
and cellular immunity are established with different forms and stages of
scleroderma.

For the first time new original complex method of treatment for
patients suffering from limited scleroderma with the help of enzyme
therapy and hypobarotherapy is elaborated and suggested.The mechanism of
the action of hypobarotherapy is demonstrated, indications and
differential approach of its application are stated.
