Hygienic aspects of prevention synthesis of carcinogenic N-nitrosamines in air environment and human organism. - Manuscript Dissertation is presented for Biology Candidate’s degree by the speciality 14.02.01 - hygiene.- Marzeev Institute of General and Communal Hygiene of the Ukrainian Ministry of Health, Kyiv, 1999. Dissertation is devoted to quantitative estimate of conditions and regularities of exogenous and endogenous synthesis of N-nitrosamines and their precursors. The outstanding role of nitrogen dioxide is determined in this process. Threshold of nitrogen dioxide level, by which form of N-nitrosamines in air environment is possible, is obtained. Carcinogenic danger of combine act of NA precursors (amidopyrine, sodium nitrite, nitrogen dioxide) which is displayed in induction of malignant and non-malignant neoplasm is shown. Population risk of neoplasm development is calculated with help of the experimental data. Method of priority N-nitrosamine in air environment determination is developed. It is shown, that sufficient method of prevention their exogenous and endogenous synthesis is holding of N-nitrosamines precursors` hygienic specification and first of all - nitrogen dioxide.
