Sokolskaya O. S. Formation of the recreational environment for youth. –
Manuscript.

Thesis submitted for a scientific degree of a Candidate of
architecture, specialization 18.00.01 – Theory of architecture,
renovation of monuments of architecture – Kharkov State Technical
University of Construction and Architecture. Kharkov, 1999.

The thesis is devoted to research of formation peculiarities of the
recreational objects system for young people in urban environment. The
structure, nomenclature and levels of the recreational environment have
been defined. The peculiarities have been investigated, is revealed a
structure and object maintenance of young people recreational activity.
The theoretical principles have been developed and offered model of
formation of the recreational environment with calculation of the
complex of prominent factors and socially-pedagogic tasks. Developed
recommendations on projecting of youth recreational objects with high
social effectiveness in new socially-economic conditions of society.
