The dissertation is devoted to establishment of relationships in constitution of the phase diagrams of the ternary systems formed by chromium with carbon and d-metals of VII or 3d-metals VIII groups (Cr–M–C). Phase equilibria in the Cr–Re, Cr–Ni–C and Cr–Re–C systems at the melting-crystallisation region were investigated by scientific instrument package of physical-chemistry. The phase diagrams of these systems were constructed for full concentration and wide temperature regions on the base of obtained and assessed literature data. The ternary systems are presented by solidus and liquidus surface projections, melting diagrams and reaction schemes, and by a number of poly- and isothermal sections. Recommendations for optimisation of the properties and preparation conditions for the chromium carbide-nickel business alloys are given. Prognosis of the solidus surface projection for the noninvestigated Cr–Tc–C system is presented on the basis of the established relationship variation of phases stability and topology of the Cr–M–C ternary systems.
