An effect of microalloying on to the structure, phase composition and mechanical properties of alloys Al-Cu-Si-Mg and Al-Mg-Si-Cu in as-cast, wrought and heat treatment conditions was studied. It was found that the alloys structure forms as a result of a sequence of eutectic, peritectic and combined eutectic-peritectic transitions which have some degree of incompletness. In the microalloyed alloys the sequence of phase transition, is still the same, but temperatures of the phase transitions changed, which cause formation of different phase composition and different ratio of intermetallic compounds in the structure of alloys. On the base of the experimental results procedures of microalloying and heat treatment, which allow to improve mechanical and service properties of components produced from the studied alloys were elaborated.
