Annotation

Loschynska N.V. Journal “Chervonyi Shliakh” and the Literary Process of
the 20-30 th years in Ukraine. Thesis for a candidate degree in
phililigy by speciality 10.01.01. – Ukrainian Literature. The Institute
of Literature named after T.G.Shevchenko of the National Academy of
Ukraine.

The main task of the investigation is the defining of the place and role
of the journal “ Chervonyi Shliakh” in the Ukrainian literary context of
the 20-30th years of the turntieth century.

The historico-cultural and social- political prereguisites of the
emergence of the periodical havt been examined in the thesis; the ties
of the journal “ chervonyi Shliakh”with its predecessrs and
contempaparies have ben exposed in it. The candidate has analysed the
considerable by its size and number of names literary-critical material
and systematised it marking the certain regularities. Thanks to this it
has become possible to reach the high level of generalization,
namely,to expose the ways of development of the then Ukrainian
aesthetic thought, to establish the main tendencies of the Ukrainian
literary process of the 20-30th years and to show their significance for
the furtherdevelopment of the literature of the 20-th century.
