Thesis is devoted to investigation of phase equilibria, crystal
structures and physical properties of intermetallic compounds.
Isothermal sections of phase diagrams of ternary systems Tb,
Ho,Yb,Lu-Cu-Al and Dy-Ag-Al have been built and limit composition of
solid solutions on the base of binary compounds and homogeneity ranges
of ternary compounds have been determined. Crystal structure of 4 binary
and 48 ternary intermetallides, which belong to 15 structure types, have
been determined for the first time. Four new structure types have been
found. Valence state of Ytterbium atoms and temperature dependence of
electroresistance for two intermetallic compounds have been studied.
Regularities of the interaction in systems Ln-Cu-Al and Dy-Ag-Al have
been analized.
