The thesis is the first special research, dedicated to study of an
integral system of genres of the Ukrainian curious poetry. In the work
it is determined, that the curious poetry appertains to an epigrammatic
kind, the most widespread term used for its definition in the Old
Ukrainian poetics is “epigramma artificiosum” (“artistic epigram”). The
basis of the curious poetry is synthesis of literature and the arts of
